Event Type Walk/Hike Description The Friends of the Walkway nonprofit organization is pleased to offer the opportunity to enjoy amazing Hudson Valley views after dark from 212 feet above the Hudson River at Walkway at Night. This is a non-guided walk that can be adjusted for length from 1-3 miles. Our friends from the Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association will be on-bridge with telescopes to view the night sky (weather permitting). Reserve your ticket for entry at walkway.org/walkwayatnight. As always, Walkway members are welcome to attend at no cost. Non-members can register for $5. Children 12 and under are free. We can’t wait to see you on the Walkway! $5 per person, kids 12 and under are free.

Additional Information

This is a non-guided monthly event that allows visitors to see the Walkway at night. The patron chooses how far onto the Walkway to walk, but generally it is 1-1.5 miles to get to the center and back. The path is smooth with no stairs required.
Additional Equipment Required: Dress for the weather as it is often windy at the middle of the bridge.
