Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Take a tour of this 1883 landmark RR Station. Learn about Piermont’s unique and diverse history, its role in the American Revolution and WW II, and the longest railroad in the world, which in 1851 left from Piermont’s pier to Lake Erie. View three award-winning documentaries [Last Stop, Piermont’s Papermill, & All Aboard] on the 2nd floor. Hikers can access the station via the scenic Erie Path, which overlooks the majestic Hudson. Parking is available for motorized visitors. Additional activities: Piermont’s Farmer’s Market is located in Flywheel Park from 10 AM to 3 PM.
