DetailsEvent Type Bike Tour Description Join Parks & Trails New York for a 21-mile bike ride on the Empire State Trail (mostly off-road, with about one mile of on-road riding) from Albany along the banks of the Hudson River up to Peebles Island State Park in Cohoes. Additional InformationThe ride will follow the route of the Empire State Trail from Albany to Peebles Island State Park. While most of the ride runs along off-road paths, the route does require about one mile of on-road riding with traffic through Watervliet and Green Island. We will ride together in a group to ensure we are visible to traffic and that all riders are safe.
Additional Equipment Required: All riders must provide their own bicycle, and helmets are required for all participants. We also recommend that riders bring: - Water - Spare tube and patch kit - Bike lock - Cell phone
