Details

Event Type Moon-Inspired Qigong Class Description In the ancient, mindful movement practice of Qigong, the moon represents peace, clarity, and inner light. It’s believed that practicing Qigong in the light of a full moon (even nearly full) is an especially powerful way to build “qi” or vital energy. Cris Caivano will teach three graceful and relaxing Qigong exercises inspired by the moon, perfect for Innisfree’s Mid-Autumn Festival and Moon Viewing. Qigong is a traditional Chinese mind-body-spirit health practice that has evolved over more than four millennia. The flowing, unforced exercises of Qigong are based on observations of how water, plants, and animals move. Long a professional dancer and choreographer, local resident Cris Caivano is a movement therapist, qigong and dance educator, and writer. This all-ages program is beginner friendly. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows for easy movement. Organization Hosting the Event Innisfree Garden Phone Number 8456778000
