Event Type Paddle Description Germantown Historian Tom Shannon will lead a paddle from Lasher Park in Germantown across the Hudson into the Ramshorn Creek. Greene County Historian Jonathan Palmer will then lead the group on a hike through the Ramshorn Livingston Sanctuary. The paddle is about 5 miles round trip and the hike will be about two miles long. Additional Information

We will paddle from Lasher Park in Germantown across the Hudson then into the mouth of the Ramshorn Creek. We will then dock there and hike the Ramshorn Livingston Sanctuary including an ascent to the top of the observation tower. There is about 5 miles total paddling and 2 miles of moderate/easy hiking.
Additional Equipment Required: Please pack comfortable hiking shoes/boots in a dry bag. You may want to bring binoculars for birdwatching at the sanctuary.
