Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Travel with us back in time to the fall of 1775 as the freeholders and inhabitants of the Rombout Precinct (Fishkill) Southern Dutchess County as they make the difficult decision to remain loyal to the British Crown or join the fight for independence. Meet the citizens who signed the Articles of Association and the ones who refused and experience the fight between neighbors and members of individual families. You can join in and declare where your allegiances lie. Meet Continental Soldiers, Citizen Militia, British Regulars and everyday inhabitants who will show you how they lived and survived during the American Revolution here in the Hudson Valley.
