Event Type Walk/Hike Description Join David A Steinberg, author of "Hiking the Road to Ruins" on an epic exploration of quality ruins and sights as we explore the Italian Garden and related features at the base of the Palisades cliffs. Along the way we will seek out an old estate with the still-extant swimming pool, the Women's Federation tower and maybe a secret bomb shelter dug into the old property, somewhere (we make no promises of success!). Sharp eyed hikers will recognize the ruins as the cover of his book. Signed copies will be available for sale.
