Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Visit this 1883 landmark RR Station. Learn about Piermont’s unique and diverse history, its role in the American Revolution and WW II as well as the longest railroad in the world, which in 1851 left from Piermont’s pier to Lake Erie. View two award-winning documentaries [Last Stop and Piermont’s Papermill] on the 2nd floor. Hikers can access the station via the scenic Erie Path overlooking the majestic Hudson.
