Event Type Walk/Hike Description Explore Innisfree with Adrienne Popko, a certified New York Master Naturalist of Distinction. Explore and discuss the surrounding natural environment, including birds and various insects, the role of native plants; invasive plants and ways to combat them, and more. This tour (route, terrain, and parking location) is designed for individuals with both full and limited mobility. Adrienne uses a walker with wheels. If you have specific questions about accessibility, please contact our landscape curator, Kate Kerin, who developed this program with Adrienne: khkerin@innisfreegarden.org. Local resident Adrienne Popko is an active volunteer for many nature-related nonprofits including New York Master Naturalists, Lower Hudson PRISM, Wildwoods Restoration Project, the Dutchess Land Conservancy, Sisters Hill Farm, and was long associated with various birding groups.
