Event Type Lecture Description Dr. Harvy Flad will give an overview of the fight to protect the viewshed of the Olana State Historic Site (home of Hudson River School painter Frederic Church) from industrial development. His overview of the important of the viewshed includes the 2005 fight to prevent the construction of a new St. Lawrence Cement Plant within the viewshed.
