Enjoy the scenic Sparkill Creek stopping at several sites on the National Register of Historic Places. [The drawbridge, Haddock’s Hall - the location of the 1916 silent movie “The Hungry Heart”]. Learn about the dramatic impact of geology and the NY & Erie RR on the village and the nation. [Other topics: Dutch inhabitants, WWII, Paper Mill, and the Revolution]. Meet in the parking lot behind Confetti’s restaurant at Ash Street Sponsoring Organization Piermont Historical Society

Activities: -Guided tours on Piermont History @ Piermont’s 1883 RR Station Museum at 50 Ash Street on the scenic Erie Path overlooking the majestic Hudson River from 1 - 4 PM. Hikers can access via the Erie Path. Motorized visitors park on site. -Farmer’s Market in parking lot behind M & T Bank @ 527 Piermont Avenue from 10 AM to 3:00PM.
