Event Type Mushroom growing Description Sunday, September 5, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Ramble Event: Grow Your Own Mushrooms at Sam’s Point Join Sam’s Point staff in this hands-on program where we will explore how to grow your own edible mushrooms at home! In this program we will talk about different kinds of mushrooms and what these mysterious organisms need to grow. Each group will build their own mushroom growing kit to take home. This program is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. All unvaccinated participants are encouraged to wear face coverings and keep a minimum six-foot distance away from others who are not part of their immediate household.
