For the first time ever, the Hudson River Valley Ramble is hosting a Photo Contest during the Ramle in September. The Photo Contest challenges event participants to capture the most spectacular moments, natural landscapes, wildlife, historic landmarks, and more. Event Type River Cruise with Food & Drink Tasting Description Enjoy samplings of local apples and cider while enjoying the sunset aboard Solaris. Learn about the Esopus Spitzenburg apple (Thomas Jefferson's favorite), taste local heirloom apples, and learn their individual stories. New York state is also a leading producer of hard apple cider. Learn about the cidering process as well as our local producers in the Hudson Valley Tickets include tasting samples, and still and sparkling water.
