Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Learn about climate change in the Hudson Valley aboard Solaris, the 100% solar-powered vessel built at the Hudson River Maritime Museum! Maija Niemisto, DEC Education Specialist, will talk about Climate Change Education on the Hudson River. This will be an informal presentation and conversation focused trip as we explore how the river is changing, how communities are preparing, how teachers can include climate change in the classroom, and what you can do to be part of the solution.
