Bring your binoculars and camera and get a close and personal look at great blue heron, osprey, bald eagles, cormorants, and other local water birds that live on Rondout Creek. The electric motors on Solaris are very quiet and allow us to approach these breathtaking birds and take beautiful pictures without causing them alarm. Explore local bird habitats only accessible by boat including the Sleightsburgh barge graveyard, Sleightsburgh spit, Port Ewen Bay, and the mudflats behind the Rondout Lighthouse with birding enthusiast Peter Schoenberger.
