Untermyer Gardens, with its views of the Hudson and the Palisades, can be a good place to spot bald eagles, among other raptors, and songbirds going south for warm winter weather. Additional Equipment Required: This tour is appropriate for beginner and experienced birdwatchers. Bring your own binoculars (8 x 42 are the best for birding but others can work well too), dress for the weather, and wear sturdy shoes.
