Event Type Introductory Lecture and Slide Show on Birdwatching Description Indoor Program: Children and adults are invited to learn about how to start a new hobby for all seasons that the whole family can enjoy, birdwatching. Hank Weber of the Hudson River Audubon Society will give a lecture and slide show about the basics of birdwatching followed by a nature hike at the Lenoir Preserve on Sat. Sept. 28. Additional Equipment Required: You won't need to bring anything for the lecture on Mon. Sept. 23, but you may bring binoculars, a pencil and a notebook for the bird watch on Sat. Sept. 28. Wear comfortable shoes.
