Event Type Walk/Hike Description Join Richard Esnard of the Piermont Historical Society for a walk through early 19th-century Bogertown and then onto Piermont’s pier. Enjoy exceptional river views while learning about this scenic village, its geological history, the Revolution, WWII, and how the railroad impacted the village and the nation. Return to the parking area via Flywheel Park. Meet in the parking lot behind Confetti’s restaurant at 200 Ash Street. Sponsoring Organization Piermont Historical Society

The walk is flat.
Activities: -Visit Piermont’s Landmark RR Station Museum at 50 Ash Street on the scenic Erie Path overlooking the Hudson River from 1 - 4 PM. Hikers can access via the Erie Path. Motorized visitors park on site. -Piermont Civic Association’s Lobster Fest with Jug band at the Goswick Pavilion @ entrance to pier on Ferry Road. from 2 – 6 PM -Famer’s Market in the parking lot behind M & T Bank @ 527 Piermont Avenue from 10 AM to 3:00PM.
