Enjoy our four acres of gardens and grounds with free hands-on activities, all supplies included. Programs held outdoors (under tent) rain or shine - please dress accordingly. Our programs have something for all ages to enjoy. All programs include hands-on art activity, history program, and themed tastings exploring foods from around the world. This tour explores the lives of the people who made life at the Ten Broeck Mansion possible, and considers their extended roles in the Albany region. Learn the stories of Susannah and her children, and of Rosanna Vosburgh, the African American abolitionist, philanthropist, and paid household manager at Ten Broeck Mansion. The tour includes a visit to the site of enslaved workers' working and living quarters on the grounds of the Ten Broeck Mansion and a discussion of historic equipment and spaces used by servants in the Mansion.
