Event Type Walk/Hike Description Hone your observation skills while reflecting in the woods where Eleanor Roosevelt regularly walked. Participants will learn writing and drawing exercises while exploring the 1 mile loop trail, Eleanor's Walk. They will also receive additional activity ideas and decorate the cover of their journal to take home. Exploration will include reading some of Eleanor's writings and considering the question, "Where do human rights begin?" This program is designed for youth ages 9-12 and their families, but life-long learners of all ages are welcome! Meet at the Visitor Center and bring water, comfortable walking shoes, and bug spray.
