Event Type Walk/Hike Description Join Paul Misko, Catskill 4000 Club, and Joan Burroughs, John Burroughs Association, for a hike up the Catskill's highest peak. Along the way we'll take in the nature and about which Burroughs wrote in The Heart of the Southern Catskills, and learn about the author. Steep ascent on uneven, rocky terrain.Additional Equipment Required: Good hiking shoes a must. Bring lunch and plenty to drink. Recommend bringing rain jacket, sweater/fleece, flashlight, walking stick. NO Dogs please.
