Event Type Walk/Hike Description The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference completed a new trail up the hill behind the Catskill Interpretive Center. Join a guide for the half mile hike up the new trail to the new picnic area with views of Mount Pleasant and the Esopus Creek. Learn about Catskill geology, history, plant life, forest management and threats, and what it took to create the trail you will walk.
