Event Type Walk/Hike Description Join us for an exploration of the Thorn Preserve on Saturday September 16th at 10am. At this family event we’ll be walking the grounds as we learn about different habitats. We’ll play games that allow us to interact with one another and gain a better understanding of why habitat is important to animals. This program will be led by Matt Helffrich, 4-H Educator in Ulster County and longtime outdoor enthusiast. Organization Hosting the Event Catskill Center for Conservation and Development

Additional Information

The Thorn Preserve is flat open meadow. Wear a sun hat, sunscreen and bring bug spray. The event will take place in shine or rain - but will be cancelled in the event of heavy and steady rain.
