Event Description:
Philipse Manor Hall and downtown Yonkers have both shaped and been shaped by the Saw Mill River. This walking tour will follow the Saw Mill, or Nepperhan, River from its mouth at the Hudson to Chicken Island while discussing and exploring the history, growth, development, and changing landscapes of downtown Yonkers.

Advanced Registration Information: Saw Mill River Heritage Tour is limited to 20 people. Please call (914)965-4027 ext. 102 to reserve a spot. The registration deadline is Friday, September 20. Participants can register on the day of the tour if space is available.
